Chief Investment Officer & Managing Partner
Darren Reinig serves as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer & Managing Partner. Darren has 18 years of experience in the investment advisory field, having previously worked in technology and software development. Darren previously held the position of Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of a Southern California based multi-family office. Darren resides in Encinitas, California with his wife and two daughters.

Todd serves as the firm’s General Counsel & Managing Partner. Todd has 20 years of experience as a licensed attorney in California, having practiced at large law firms in Los Angeles and San Diego. Todd has served as General Counsel and Board Member of various entities, and operates his own law firm serving a small group of longtime individual and institutional clients. Todd resides in San Diego, California with his wife and two children.

Nathan serves as a Portfolio Manager and member of the firm’s investment committee. Nathan has 14 years of experience in the investment space, and he has served as Chief Investment Officer for both a financial advisor and an asset manager. He also has a background in technology, software development, and consulting. Nathan lives in Littleton, Colorado with his wife and three children.

Ryan Lawler serves as Senior Associate with Torren and has over three years of experience in private wealth management. Prior to his current role, Ryan was an associate at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, where he worked closely with high-net-worth families and institutions to develop and implement tailored financial strategies. He graduated with a BBA and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of San Diego. Originally from Minneapolis, Ryan now resides in San Diego and holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.

Maddy Gregor serves as a Senior Associate. Maddy has five years of experience in the investment space, having previously worked in corporate development at a lower middle market buyout firm and investment research at an institutional alternatives advisory group. She earned both her BBA and Master of Science in Finance with distinction from the University of San Diego. Maddy grew up on the island of Kauai and now resides in Encinitas, California.
